Irish Car Bombs LC Style

March 17th, 2010

HAPPY ST. PATTY’S DAY!!!

In honor of St. Patty’s day I introduce a new way to partake in the famous Irish Car Bomb. For all of you who have no idea what I am talking about,  an Irish Car Bomb is a 1/2 shot of whiskey and a half shot of irish cream dropped in to a pint glass of Guinness. I used to have  fear of this famous stout before I became an avid beer drinker. But I now realize it’s pretty mild, as far as stouts go.

More often than not I am looking for new beer and chocolate pairings that will be crowd pleasers for my tasting parties. The morning after my first bomb,  as the fog cleared I realized something…. I have a yummy truffle that is made with Irish Cream and caramel!

Next time your up for a Guinness with something sweet try it with our Dulce de Leche’ truffle. You’ll thank me in the morning!
